Helen Watson, cursed by her unquenchable hunger for money, power, and ultimately the White House, will not allow anyone or anything to prevent her from achieving her goals. The untimely "natural" death of her first husband, billionaire Winston Filmore, provides Helen with millions in cash and two successful computer companies. These companies already enjoy a multi-billion dollar government contract for a super computer complex in Colorado. Helen arranges for hidden computer codes to be developed and deeply embedded within the computer software code. These hidden codes permit Helen to control state and national election results. Helen then meets Bill Clayton, and within a few months they get married. Bill happens to be the Democratic front-runner for president, and his presidential "victory" a few months later makes history as the nation's first election where internet voting is the only voting permitted. Things continue according to Helen's plans until her path crosses those of Al and Sheri Ransom, a covert team working for CIA special operations. Al Ransom discovers by chance that Helen has secret accounts hiding hundreds of millions of siphoned Social Security dollars. Helen and her elite but rogue bodyguards initiate plans to eliminate Al and Sheri, but Helen has no idea what kind of sleeping giants she is about to awaken. The plot, which includes a little romance and a lot of action, also contains numerous other twists and turns. It is truly a thriller to read.
